Downloaded, and then promptly deleted Tubi just to watch this new film from the talented Matt Maiellaro.
I found the movie to be okay!
Alfredo Manicotti (not to be confused with Zucotti Manicotti) I found to be very different from Dana Snyder’s other performances. His notable yells start becoming more prominent as the film progresses, and it’s still much different from everything I’ve ever known him for. It’s a really good performance on his part.
I’ve heard Dana discuss fatherhood in interviews recently, so it is something for him to take on this spaghetti supervillain role that has deep rooted scorn with a father wanting to impress his daughter. Alfredo’s oddly the most mature cartoon character he’s ever played.
There’s other joyful fame here. Lavell Crawford, wonderful comedian known for late ATHF cameos has a fun spot as Chubs.
If you remember Mary from season three of 12 oz. Mouse, she has a nice spot here as well.
This movie isn’t perfect, but I still found myself invested.
If anything, I’m glad the return of Ozmo and ATHF has helped Maiellaro come out of his shell and make more stuff.
Maybe they’ll pick up a sequel!

Downloaded, and then promptly deleted Tubi You had to download it? That's interesting. I just went on Tubi's website and watched it for free on my browser--no account or anything. (I also had uBlock Origin on my browser, so no commercial breaks for me. ) Anyway, I thought the movie was alright. It felt like an Adult Swim mini-series that Tubi just happened to pick up. It had a lot of overly long gags that certainly wouldn't fly on a theatrical screening (hence why I feel like it was meant for TV rather than a movie). I really enjoyed Pastacolypse and I think anyone else reading this might get a kick out of it as well. Watch the movie here.

Yep. That link just directs me to download as soon as I press play. I didn’t have to make an account either so that’s good.
Shame they apparently don’t have Stroker & Hoop available anymore. Guess it’s better for Adult Swim dot com to have it all for free.
