In sheer disbelief this time around.
Earlier in the day, everyone rushed to report on this one stray source known as Cordcutter News, with not much backing up the claim. So everyone reasonably dismissed it after brief panic. Then it turns out, this is actually happening... they’re really serious about this... One of the downsides of Twitter having to lead the charge.

CN might as well give up at this point. They have nothing left to offer. They're not premiering any new shows (all that stuff is going to Max) and new episodes are few and far between. In 2024, just let AS create a 12-hour encore and swallow up the rest of the network. Then WBD can pull what Canada is doing--rebrand Boomerang as CN.

Adult Swim does not have enough programming available to justify this. Especially considering how much they rely on Fox acquisitions. This is a potential disaster.

This is bad for everyone involved.
Forget how quickly they turned their back on Ouweleen’s whole sing and dance about fixing the problems at CN.
The solution to lack of children watching your network should not be to axe their programming and not even try.
Adult Swim can’t even properly manage the 7pm schedule they have right now. Futurama’s airing on pointless graveyard slots simply because they suck at airing the show. In the glory days I saw Futurama rank in millions of viewers at [as] each week. Without schedule clogging! Now we need four hour KOTH marathons just to compete with FXX kicking our ass in 2022.
Being able to see Adult Swim during sunset was weird enough. Now you have to prepare for when it begins airing practically right at the shy end of noon for some people.
I just can’t recognize Adult Swim anymore.

Warner Discovery has not made a single good business decision since David Zaslav took over. You can "But.. but... James Gunn!" at me if you like, but just based on the things coming out of Gunn's mouth, it already seems like a mistake. Putting the guy in charge of DC whose one stupidly R-rated DC movie bombed seems... ill-advised to me. Crazy notion, right?
