A temp forum has been created at forum.toonzone.netHowever, it seems to have limited functionality--it doesn't work on some browsers and the text (at least on my monitor) is light grey on white (ugh) and hard to read. I also tried posting and it didn't work, even though some people over there are already having success. (EDIT: I managed to get a post in. Yay.)Not sure whether to close this now or leave this open until the bugs have been ironed out... UPDATE: The forum is running more stable now, but there seems to be some serious censorship problems with the forum software--a word as innocent as "awful" can be censored, and even a word on the admin's own apology post was censored. |

Keep this forum up until the regular forums come back. The "official" temp forum looks to be a mess.

I had to delete my account and then make it over again just to feel *somewhat* safer.
I’m no longer as mad about how they’ve addressed the general problem, so much as I am very upset at how careless they were when putting whatever that was together.
Even then, it’s not like I can point any finger at one specific person, but it’s irresponsible negligence.
I really hope the admin reconsiders deleting this board someday. Too much has gone down and what mods are doing now just isn’t gonna cut it.

The problem is that I can't keep the name since the original site lays claim to it. However, after seeing how disastrous this temp reopening is, I have a new idea: If the official opening looks as bad as this temp opening, I might just rename this forum rather than shut it down. We'll have to see how the final product looks, though. It really depends on them. |
